This is the garage for the Michigan Plaza Building (205 N Michigan Ave). It is a Legacy Parking facility. Please Note: The entrance for this facility is located 2 levels under Michigan Ave at the end of Lower Lake St. not Michigan Ave, and can be very hard to find if you are unfamiliar with Chicago lower level streets. GPS can be unreliable underground, so please follow the directions listed below to enter the garage. The easiest way to find the garage is from Michigan Avenue. From Michigan Avenue: (Easiest way to Michigan Plaza) 1. Turn west on Lake Street and right at the first street, Garland Court 2. Turn right on lower South Water Street. 3. Turn right on Lower Columbus Drive and at the first street on the right, Lake Street, take another right turn. 4. Go straight ahead to the Michigan Plaza Parking Garage Entrance. Look for the red and white “Michigan Plaza Garage” sign. From Columbus Dr: 1. Enter “N Columbus Dr. and E. South Water” into your GPS. After this, ignore your GPS, it will cause confusion. 2. Turn west to the down ramp on East South Water St. 3. Follow the down ramp and make a hard left (180-degree turn) at the bottom of the ramp to the adjacent road, and continue to the stop sign at Lower Columbus. 4. Turn right onto Lower Columbus Dr. 5. Take your first right onto Lower Lake St. The entrance to the garage will be straight ahead. Look for the red and white “Michigan Plaza Garage” signs. From Lake Shore Dr: 1. Head south on Lake Shore Drive and exit at Randolph St. 2. Follow Randolph west to N Columbus and turn right on Columbus 3. Turn left onto the down ramp on East South Water St. 4. At the stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, make another hard left (180-degree turn) and continue straight to the stop sign ahead at Lower Columbus Dr. 5. Turn right onto Lower Columbus Dr 6. Take your first right onto Lower Lake St. The entrance to the garage will be straight ahead. Look for the red and white “Michigan Plaza Garage” signs.
